HISTORICAL REVIEW

The El Palto Agroecological Producers association was created on April 19, 2007. Made up of 25 producers belonging to the El Palto de Chingama locality, a coffee-growing valley in the Bellavista district, province of Jaén, in the Cajamarca region in Peru. We are the third generation of coffee producers in the Chingama Valley, made up of men and women who come together in a joint effort to grow and offer superior quality coffee to the market. Every day, our work begins with the morning preparation of a cup of coffee, which transcends the simple act of drinking to become a living testimony of the history and tradition rooted in the Chingama valley, in Jaén, Cajamarca.

Today, the El Palto Agroecological Producers Association persists in its commitment to continuous improvement, with the aspiration of offering the best of the region in both national and international markets. This effort is a living testimony of the evolution of agriculture in the Chingama Valley.
